• 6/19/08 American Girl Movie Premiere to Benefit K.I.D.S.
  K.I.D.S. friends and supporters will be able to attend the premiere of the much anticipated new American Girl movie, "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl" on Thursday evening, June 19, at the Ziegfeld Theatre.

• 6/02/08 National Barefoot Week
  It was called Barefoot Week. But the joint venture between Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) and Soles4Souls from June 1-7 put new shoes on the feet of 325,000 children in desperate need.

• 5/14/08  American Image Awards
  American Apparel and Footwear Association is celebrating a “Salute to Industry Icons” at this year’s American Image Awards Dinner honoring VF Corporation, Belk Stores, Badgley Mischka, and Marvin Traub. The proceeds will benefit K.I.D.S. and Fashion Delivers.

• 4/25/08 Fort Dix Toy Distribution
  On April 25, 2008, in celebration of the Month of the Military Child, representatives from Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. (K.I.D.S) and the Toy Industry Foundation (T.I.F.) traveled to Fort Dix, New Jersey to distribute new toys to children of the families stationed at the military base.
