Gymboree
For a company whose values include “authenticity”, “having fun”, and “making a difference” the Gymboree and K.I.D.S. partnership brings that passion and corporate social responsibility pledge to the more than 600 communities in the U.S. and Canada.
In the first year of the program K.I.D.S. helped Gymboree and its store managers distribute more than $2 million worth of new clothing, shoes and accessories to help families in need; the largest single retail product donation to K.I.D.S. to date in 2008. These families now have juvenile products to care for newborns; they’re sending their kids to school in new clothes; their children have warm shoes; and these young people find new pride and acceptance with their classmates at school and in the community.
